What if I didn't bring enough medication with me?
If you're visiting our area and require a prescription refill we are able to contact your regular pharmacy on your behalf to request a prescription transfer. This means all the information and refills for that prescription are transferred to us. When you return to your regular pharmacy (if there are remaining refills) we will happily transfer your prescription back to your regular pharmacy.
What if I require a prescription while travelling?
If you are coming from another Canadian province, we can start by transferring your prescription from your usual pharmacy. If you require a new prescription or are from another country and it falls under the situations our pharmacists can prescribe for, we can arrange a 20-minute appointment for the pharmacist to evaluate your symptoms and write a prescription (service fee may apply). If the pharmacist is unable to provide a prescription, we recommend visiting Urgent or Emergency care facilities to see a physician.
Do you have a loyalty program?
Yes - Guardian Rewards! This is a store specific loyalty plan where customers are able to sign up for a loyalty card to collect and redeem their reward points. Simply present your card while picking up your prescription or while making a purchase in-store. Your points will automatically be tallied. Once you reach the 5000 point threshold you'll have $10 (or more) to redeem in store (excluding prescriptions, lottery items, and newspapers).
More than one member of your household? Let us know and we can link multiple cards to one principal account to help ensure you don't miss out on collecting your reward points!
